From the second I saw the video for Foxy Shazam’s “Dangerous Man“, I’ve been a fan. Ridiculous energy that they bring 110% of to the stage as well. If you have the chance to see them live, don’t miss it!
So stoked they played my home town and that they were down to commemorate the evening with a legit poster.
Tried a new technique on this piece with some spot clear gloss with a little silver fleck mixed in. It highlights the “FS” icon up top and the lightning bolts. It is also the rays coming out of the goggles. The style of the piece needed to match their over-the-top persona and style, so I went for a canival/sideshow/steampunk vibe. The theme of the piece is based on the song “Wanna-Be Angel” with the lyric of “You’ll probably end up in Heaven and I’ll be burning in Hell”. . . and of course you have to have an amazing moustache when doing a foxy poster.
